Are you an experienced Printer with previous experience/ knowledge of the print/ signage industry? Do you have exhaustive knowledge of large format printers, ideally Impala & HP Scitex, as well cutting beds- Zund or Kongsberg?
Overview:
The individual will have extensive experience, be industrious in nature and be capable motivating and managing an experienced team.
Responsibilities:
- Matching the Production resources to the daily and weekly workload.
- Developing the skill set within Production
- Identifying and implementing labour & cost saving initiatives
- Operating key equipment and leading major jobs
- Prioritising jobs where necessary
Skills/Experience Required:
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of flatbed printers, cutting beds, vinyl applications, as well as all the corresponding materials.
- Previous experience/ knowledge of the print/ signage industry
- People Management Experience
- The ability to lead a team and prioritise workloads
- Exhaustive knowledge of large format printers, ideally Impala & HP Scitex, as well cutting beds- Zund or Kongsberg.
- Experience of print finishing including mounting, laminating, guillotine, vinyl application
- Exceptional organisational & communication skills
- Flexibility of working hours
