Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum
Job Title: Subcontractor Payments Clerk
Are you a Payments Clerk with a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a finance department? Do you have strong Excel knowledge (Vlookup, Pivot tables)? This is a great opportunity to join an established business with a fantastic team of people.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up New Subcontractor account ensuring full PQQ process is followed
- Verifications are completed online with HMRC
- Input weekly subcontractor Invoices, ensuring costs are posted to correct Job/Cost center
- Distribute invoices for authorization by relevant Contract Managers
- Process fortnightly payment run and deal with any queries
- Distribute Subcontractor Remittance Advices
- Monitor Subcontractors Insurance details
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a financial department
- Excel Knowledge (Vlookup, Pivot tables)
- Experience in resolving disputes and queries with suppliers/subcontractors
- Experience in internet banking and setting up electronic CHAPS and Bacs payments.
- Good Customer Service Skills
