Job Title: Sales Merchandiser - Field Based
Are you a Sales Merchandiser with experience in the industrial hardware sector? You will travel the South of the Country providing a merchandising service to the company's customers. This is a hands-on position where you can excel in an environment that embraces teamwork, change and flexibility.
Summary:
To provide a complete merchandising service to the company's customers. To act as company ambassadors maintaining close customer relations managing the presentation of company products and marketing aids within customer stores.
Responsibilities:
- To arrive in good time to start the job and ensure time is optimised within customers opening hours.
- To merchandise company products within customer stores to customer or company planograms.
- To complete merchandising by specified deadlines.
- To assemble company, display stands, install display boards and marketing material.
- To deliver when necessary deliver customer orders prior to merchandising.
- To list and pack up competitor stock where the company has agreed to cleanse competitor products.
- To where necessary collect stock cleanse product from customers and return it to the warehouse with the correct paper work.
- To help in setting up trade shows / customer events.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the field sales merchandising of architectural hardware product is desirable but not essential. Working to specific store and company planograms, your role will involve working to a program of site visits to our retail customers, supporting their stores product merchandising of architectural hardware products. A strong background in customer service is a key requirement of the role developing good customer relations and support.
