We are currently recruiting an Experienced Ocean Import Operator for a well-established cutting edge global supply chain solutions company that engage in the complete range of logistics services.

Sea Freight Import Operator wanted to join truly friendly, dynamic & supportive freight team who are passionate and well established!

Overview:

  • The role is challenging as it is, you will be in charge of a 360-degree operational cycle and serving the most prestige accounts.
  • Completion of Sea Freight Import Operations cycle -start to finish.
  • Import Client Account management.
  • FCL/LCL/Cross trades/ Worldwide markets.
  • Liaison with Overseas Agents, suppliers & 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Taking bookings and completing these as per requirements.
  • Negotiation of rates and updating tariffs.
  • Arranging collections & deliveries.
  • Entries & Clearances /Customs operational procedures.
  • Raising invoices for Duty & VAT; ensuring monies are collected prior to releasing cargoes.
  • Completion of all import documentation.
  • Customer focus and problem solving.

Requirements:

  • Sea Freight Imports*Freight Forwarding*Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
  • A pro-active attitude & flexible to meet the requirements of the business.
  • Able to use IT Freight software such as: Visual Broker, CIEL, FCL, ASM GEMS, & CNS.
