Are you an Area Manager with Food Retail experience? Do you have experience managing a number of sites? This is a field based role covering South Wales. A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Summary:
Area Managers have the responsibility of all aspects of approximately 12 sites.
The right applicant will have a track record in multi-site convenience retail management, for example as an Area Manager or Cluster Retail Store Manager who is looking for a new changeling environment to enhance their current skills and continue to develop their career.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years food retail experience within a major supermarket or convenience store environment
- Availability and cost control management expertise
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service
- An enabling leadership style - able to develop and mentor others and lead by example
- Ability to adapt in a consistently changing fast paced retail environment requiring strong change management and resiliency skills
- Excellent time management and self-motivation skills to enable success in a field-based role
- Drive, motivation and willingness to challenge yourself and others
- Flexibility and availability to meet the demands expected from an open all hour's business
- Ideally educated to degree level in business management
This role is based in the field and does require extensive travel around your sites.
