About the Role

Joining the Operations team and working closely with the Founders and Head of Logistics &

Operations, you will be dealing with complex processes, providing reports and analysing data that will be crucial to the successful running of the business.

In this role it is essential that you are a highly analytical thinker, as you will apply your data analyst skills and experience to various projects which range from data auditing, modelling and reporting to web analytics and segmentation. You will carry out data analysis, interrogation and manipulation to build reports and resolve queries. You will also need to cleanse and prepare data from various sources.

You will be responsible for improving reporting methods and analytics for a number of internal KPI's

as well as supporting other departments with additional ad-hoc reporting (primarily Finance and Marketing). You will also need to participate in Behaviour Analysis, create Holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and run/create reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be inquisitive and eager to learn. Excel is your friend. Clean data makes you deliriously happy! You'll be comfortable using Excel and

Google sheets to compile reports and models using various data sources. Learning new systems and implementing and optimising processes brings a twinkle to your eye.

You'll have experience in start-up environments or a hunger to work in one and a keen yearning to learn all you can about building a vibrant brand in an exciting industry.

You'll have min 2 years' experience in logistics and/or operations but above all you'll have the drive and passion to innovate in the role and push both the business and yourself to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with stakeholders to get a thorough understanding of requirements in order to produce reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Modelling and forecasting spreadsheets to varying levels of complexity
  • Making informed recommendations to stakeholders regarding performance, ROI and profitability.
  • Providing focused and detailed analysis for strategic business initiatives based on customer insights.
  • Identifying patterns in customer behaviour that will lead to specific strategic direction and plans.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience and help develop a customer plan in different parts of the business.
  • Providing quantitative evidence of impact on customers to support or challenge tactical and strategic business decisions.
  • Building innovative approaches to solve analytical problems and communicate results.
  • Using data to tell a story.

You must have:

  • A passion for e-commerce and particularly start-ups.
  • Web Analytics - Google Analytics preferred.
  • Experience using data analysis packages, and SQL.
  • MS Office with strong Excel (Preferably including VBA).
  • Experience 2+ years commercial experience in a relevant environment (start-ups ideal).
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM subject.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience and exposure to mainstream e-commerce applications (WooCommerce, Shopify, Shipstation, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Paypal, Stripe etc.)
