Job Title: Commercial Product Engineer

Are you a Commercial Product Engineer with experience in the heating industry? This is a great opportunity to join an established business with a fantastic team of people.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical development projects for commercial products and co-ordinate where required for both product design and development.
  • Support the sales team with plant room surveys, product specification, selection and quotations for projects.
  • Help develop and launch new products for the light commercial market including approvals, technical documentation and instructions.
  • Offer support with commercial heating installations and system design including technical support and commissioning.
  • Be familiar with current regulation for Gas, Flue and Ventilation standards for commercial applications.
  • Keep updated on any changes in legislation with respect to current and future products and attends industry technical meetings when required.
  • Investigate and support quality and technical problems in the field and propose solutions.
  • Undertake technical presentations in support of sales functions when required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the heating industry including small/medium commercial heating with knowledge of cascade and zoned systems and heating controls.

Be familiar with heating system design and layout for both domestic and light commercial heating and hot water requirements.
