Job Title: Air Export Supervisor

The Air Export Supervisor is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication with our customers to ensure all their shipping requirements are met (From air waybill execution through to customer pre-alert and post-flight)
  • Adhering to proper Routing of Shipments
  • Ensuring that all Customs & Excise requirements are met and rules followed (i.e. IPR/OPR records)
  • Updates and verifies Tariffs and Rates
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment on a regular basis
  • Responsible for ensuring highest quality and accuracy of document processing
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and customer retention by implementing effective service capabilities
  • Responsible for general compliance with all trading countries/partners (Rules & Documentation)
  • Ensuring a smooth flow of information between vendor / supplier, customer and other members of our supply
  • Assists the day-to-day operations of the export department to ensure that customer requirements are met

Requirements:

  • 2 years in freight forwarding industry required
  • Knowledge of Customs Export
  • Expert knowledge with export operations highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage own workload
  • Ability to set priorities, and instruct others on how to perform tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
