Job Title: Business Process Improvement Manager

As a Business Process Improvement Manager, you must be self-motivated with a proven track record in leading and managing teams, as well as in business process management, and delivering business process improvements within a global complex organisation.

You must be able to manage across a matrix organisation across, upwards and downwards and influence the SAP delivery team to achieve goals. The candidate needs to be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a dynamic organisation operating globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development of BPI team policies and practices, specifically in VTPM (project management methodology). Develop and promote adoption within the team and drive continuous improvements, implications and efficiencies.
  • Manage and monitor global process owners, process analysts and SAP functional leads, working closely with the Business Systems Development Manager
  • Support the Head of BPI with portfolio management, resource planning and balancing
  • Ensure solutions developed and proposed fit the overall strategy of the business and work within the BPI Team Manager peer group to ensure the team is doing the right things, in the right way
  • Manage and report on Small Developments within the process area to ensure continued throughput and increased efficiencies in delivery

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance and Accounting or Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process management or process improvement
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management or project and programme management
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem-solving skills
  • Must be aware or practicing agent for six sigma / Kaizen, etc. techniques & tools
  • Ability to work very closely with software delivery teams to design practical / pragmatic solutions to business problems
