Job Title: Administration Assistant (Accounts)

Summary:

To provide administrative support to the Accounts Department. Working as part of a small team, this role involves supporting the admin function of the Purchase Ledger and Credit Control areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with purchase ledger function: GRN Matching, sending out remittances, checking supplier statements, invoice processing, creating and processing EFT payment runs. Reconciling credit card statements.
  • Assisting with Sales ledger function: Printing and sending invoices and statements, chasing outstanding debt, processing payments (in three currencies), filing, and providing holiday and sickness cover for this role where applicable.
  • Other tasks will include filing, archiving old paperwork, ordering department stationery and dealing with incoming and outgoing company post, and assisting other departments as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Maths & English GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Some previous admin experience in an accounts related environment would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Team Worker, Flexible, Reliable, High level of Integrity
