Job Title: Industrial Territory Manager

The job holder will be responsible for sales of gas generators and associated equipment across the given territory. The primary goal of the role will be to achieve and exceed sales targets by undertaking all aspects of the sales cycle from initiation (lead generation and cold calling activities) right through to negotiation and closing of complex sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and expand the industrial gas business with OEM's, distributors and end-users, gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Strategic Planning - examine and identify the key areas and markets within territory and devise and develop an action plan to grow business in responsible territory.
  • Develop a strong and sustainable sales pipeline for sales success in the region.
  • Provide sales advice and support for OEMs/customers to assist them to purchase our generators by offering solutions for their gas requirements.
  • Capitalise on opportunities that maximise profitability and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Bring added value to the process from one's own energy and ambition for success.
  • Travel as required to support the business including end user sales visits, training, partner and distributor interaction.
  • Maintaining an accurate and updated customer database (CRM).
  • Maintaining or exceeding yearly sales quota.
  • Work alongside a cross-functional team, including technical architect, project and product managers and service delivery functions to ensure both commercial and overall project success.

Requirements:

  • Friendly, accommodating with a service and customer-first focus. Performing activities in a way which will deliver high customer service levels and satisfaction
  • A strong business and commercial acumen
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships
  • Technically astute and experience in selling complex project-based sales
  • Preferably familiar with industrial gases / on-site gas generation / air compressor and associated markets / industries
  • Experience of project-based and capital expenditure-based selling
