As the Fan Coil Product Management Executive responsible for managing the Heating and Ventilation Systems category, this role will mean working closely with the Channel marketing, Sales and R&D teams to ensure the product portfolio matches group technology and capabilities with the identified needs of customers. To achieve this, you will lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, setting milestones and deadlines to meet objectives as well managing the existing portfolio through the various stages of product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Management team to maintain the product roadmap and adhere to the established NPI and Stage Gate processes.
  • Collate and analyse various reports to enable data driven decisions. This includes market alternatives, legislative impact, technological, social and economic factors that influence product development.
  • Help to maintain clarity and precision in product design/application intent and translate that through marketing and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Channel marketing team to help identify and prioritise market opportunities.
  • Liaise with R&D to help ensure product briefs are relevant and understood, following progress through the development cycle, collating drawings, product specifications and performance data.
  • Assist the Marketing team to produce accurate and relatable website/digital & printed media content and help to keep the Product Information Directory (PID) updated.
  • Work with the Training team to help with the preparation of materials for training and product launches.
  • Work with the Technical department to ensure drawings and performance data sets are current.
  • Ensure with the Production department have the latest build instructions and design packs.
  • Act safely at all times and in accordance with the company Health and Safety Policy, regulations and legislation.

  • Act as an ambassador for all H&S matters relating to the design and implementation of GDHV product systems, helping to develop and implement safe working practices and procedures.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and adherence to our ISO9001 and ISO14001 processes and procedures
  • The department operates an "Agile" methodology and as such you may be required to carry out various tasks and duties in support of the wider department goals
