Main Purpose of Job

Reporting to the Global Product Manager for Controls the Product Marketing Executive will work closely with the all departments to ensure that New Product Introduction projects run smoothly, on-time and that Stage Gates are navigated efficiently. In addition, you will also be responsible for performing tasks to manage products in the existing portfolio.

Accountabilities

The primary duties of the role will include the following:

  • Support Product Marketers in a variety of tasks and duties throughout the NPI process and responsible for defined parts of projects.
  • Work with the Product Marketing team to maintain the product roadmap and to adhere to the established NPI and Stage Gate process.
  • Assist the Product manager to maintain the accuracy and refinement of all product information including website, printed and especially the Product Information Directory (PID).
  • Helping the Product Marketing Manager with tasks to implement Strategic initiatives for growth or efficiency improvements.
  • Collate and analyse data to enable the Product Marketing Manager to make data driven decisions. This includes assisting the Product Manager to maintain and present analysis of competitors and other external legislative, technological, social and economic factors that influence product development.
  • Support the Product Manager to liaise with R&D to develop products and collate product specifications and data.
  • Aid the Product Manager to collaborate with Channel marketing prioritise market opportunities.
  • Assist the Product Manager by providing product information to create product summery material and promotional tools to support the Marketing Communications department.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and adherence to our ISO9001 and ISO14001 processes and procedures.
  • The department operates in an agile way and as such you may be required to carry out various tasks and duties in support of the wider department goals.

Dimensions

Spends 50% of time on New Product Introduction Projects and 50% of time on maintenance and queries on existing range. Works with Controls team to support all global territories.
