Quality Coordinator based in Eastbourne

The Role of Quality Coordinator

The Quality Coordinator will provide quality support to projects (NPI) from the planning phase to project completion. The successful candidate will be able to ensure that all materials, processes, and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards, and promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes, and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Provide direct support to customers on quality related issues.
  • Monitoring and reporting to senior management team on all internal activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Developing external internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports, including working with external auditing company.
  • Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies (including risk assessments).

What are the key (minimum) requirements for a Quality Coordinator application?

Degree in a related field.

  • Related Quality training/certification.
  • 2+ years of experience working with UKAS ISO9001 quality systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
