Account Manager based in Brighton.

Key Responsibilities of Account Manager:

Based in the UK the Account Manager will deliver quality account management services to an assigned portfolio of multinational insurer and employer corporate customers. This will involve growing this portfolio profitably and representing business information professionally with Clients.

  • To manage the corporate accounts assigned to you, including retention, renewal, expansion and pricing discussions
  • Ensure targets & objectives set and agreed with the General Manager are met, both personal and business
  • Develop and maintain Account Plans within the portfolio
  • Provide proactive advice to Clients on their plans. To prepare and present appropriate account performance, utilisation reports and sales material often to the highest management levels using full graphic capabilities, marketing and sales aids
  • Demonstrate our Mobile Application (App) as well as other online services to clients face-to-face and remotely via conference call facilities
  • Develop long term mutually beneficial relationships
  • To represent the company as a thoroughly professional organisation and a global leader in Virtual Care by ensuring diligent preparation for calls and meetings and clear follow-up and after sales support

Key Requirements of Account Manager:

  • Sales and Account Management background in the global health insurance market, or relevant transferable skills and knowledge from other industries including Account Management at Senior/Board member level
  • Demonstrated track record in growing corporate sales and have previous working relationships to exceed targeted business results/KPIs
  • Experience in negotiating and managing high-value contracts
  • Experience with foreign cultures and a capability to develop a strong international network of commercial contacts and effectively manage long term relationships
  • Able to work independently as well as to contribute to the team
  • Skill and ability to adopt a consultative approach to effect problem solving and to explore options to ensure potential within a client account is maximised
