Job Purpose:

The role will support the development, execution and performance management of a digital focused marketing strategy for the organisation around which all marketing campaigns, plans and activities will be designed. Supporting the design and structure of marketing strategy, planning and campaigns using marketing insights to shape them at the outset, monitor performance during and provide "in flight" evidence-based recommendations aimed at optimising marketing performance at return on investment.

You will have an international remit, working with Regional Directors and their teams, channel partners as well as key stakeholders within HQ functions.

Key accountabilities

Key aspects of this role are (1) enabling the Marketing function to leverage digital channels (2) using analytics to shape how we better engage, convert and serve customers (3) monitor and seek to optimise the relative performance of our channels and campaigns and (4) deliver meaningful cross channel KPI dashboard and reporting.

They will define and implement measurement strategies which align with the objectives of the relevant business unit. The role will use SEO and conversion optimisation strategies in leveraging digital channels to attract, grow and engage our broad community and go on to convert audiences and organisations onto a mutually beneficial customer relationship.

Using digital marketing methodologies (including but not limited to SEM / SEO, paid social, display, e-mail, content syndication and CRM to drive results) they will collaborate closely with the Sales and wider Marketing teams to measure analytics, and deliver significant growth in our customer segments and markets, support the marketing services team in performing digital campaigns to fuel demand generation, acquisition and elevate brand awareness.

This role will develop and lead a dedicated data and analytics capability within the company to drive, develop and communicate strategic insights, tools and standardised frameworks in support of marketing strategy, planning, understanding and anticipating customer behaviour and proposing tactical marketing responses.

You will have responsibility for leading on campaign and data analytics for the marketing services team, including analysing and interpreting customer behaviours, providing evidence based recommendations and deliver reports and presentations in accessible ways to business stakeholders to help meet business goals.

Other areas into which data and analyses will feed, include sales and product data and to shape marketing strategy, develop a customer segmentation strategies and inform the shape of customer journeys.

Essential role requirements:

  • Experience in developing and developing digital marketing strategies including cross functional and conversion optimisation strategies (through CRM, SEO, Social and Community).
  • Success in managing, measuring and analysing B2B and B2C digital marketing campaigns including paid search, display, paid social
  • A sound understanding of the conversion funnel, and the implications that has on acquisition channels and retention
  • Experience of working with website optimisation tools for A/B multivariate testing e.g. Google Optimise, GTM etc and familiarity with CRM, AdWords, Bing and DoubleClick platforms.
  • Sound reporting skills and an ability to relay analytical insights to a diverse range of internal audiences.
  • Proficient at relationship building at all levels and influencing a range of senior decision makers, challenging decision-making to help make continuous improvements.
  • Experience in being able to work internationally and with an international mindset across cultures, geographies and diverse customer tastes, and reflect this within marketing strategy.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a small team and to work with others
  • Ability to work unsupervised whilst managing multiple projects
