As the Continuous Improvement Engineer you will report to the Technical Services Director. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing efficient statutory, preventive and predictive maintenance systems through the effective use of our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Working alongside the Engineering teams and Facilities teams, you will support the analysis, review, future planning and sustainability to drive reliability issues or repeat failures.

  • Support the Engineering and Facilities teams in the successful implementation of daily and annual planned preventive maintenance regimes in line with the asset management strategy, best practice and the priorities set by the Appointed Inspection Body (AIB) and Senior Management Team.
  • Identify, through time and motion studies, resource requirements to maintain the company assets within' relevant standards and to deliver projects.
  • Develop accurate reporting tools and dashboards that can be used to ensure a high level of competence and understanding of asset management and performance with both internal and external regulations and trending of faults. This will include making new plans and procedures to maximise ride availability / reliability, staff utilisation, costs and most importantly safety and compliance across all areas of the Technical Services department.
  • Being designated as the CMMS specialist for asset management, ensuring the system is maintained, updated and developed in accordance with group strategy. To also ensure all existing personnel are kept up to date with changes and improvements through clear communications and coaching. Prepare and deliver reports as required to support all Technical Services functions, supporting trending analysis or highlighting risks and opportunities in team operation and planning.

To be successful in this role of Continuous Improvement Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • HND / HNC qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with budget control, producing reports and project management
  • Experience with Six Sigma
  • Proven experience conducting continuous improvement in previous roles
  • Time and motion experience
