Job vacancy - Third Line IT Support

Position: Third Line IT Support

Location: Brighton
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a personable and motivated Third Line IT Support. You will take responsibility for the effective installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. In addition to:

  • Ensure the maximum availability of the computer systems throughout the Company.
  • Assume responsibility for the provision of IT services including desktop applications / area networks.
  • Develop and implement new systems and provide input into IT strategy / budget definition.
  • Carry out the installation of hardware and software as required while ensuring license compliance.
  • Undertake second and third line support across the entire IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure all IT asset movements are recorded in the extranet correctly.

To be successful in the role of Third Line IT Support, we would like to speak to anyone who has experience in the following:

  • Working in 2nd/3rd Line IT Support is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems and software with a good understanding of virtualisation technologies.
  • A good understanding of LAN / WAN technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Cisco switches and PALO ALTO Firewalls.
  • Ability to demonstrate reliability, flexibility and openness to change.
