The successful Diagnostics Engineer will be joining a UK leading company and will work at keeping everything to a high standard of safety and efficiency.

This role involves;

  • Reporting into our Head of Electrical Engineering, you will keep PLC control equipment within the park, to a high standard of safety and efficiency.
  • Using industry knowledge and experience to support all aspects of control systems, including PLC's, AC/DC drives, industrial fieldbus networks, and associated software and hardware.
  • You'll work to planned preventative maintenance routines, actively troubleshooting and repairing control systems, to minimise downtime, while maximising guest experience, throughput and KPI scores.
  • You'll also play an active role in the Technical Services Department, with supporting and mentoring of the front-line engineering team, both in day to day reactive maintenance tasks and projects.

To be successful in this role of Diagnostics Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • Previous control system experience
  • Experience with PLC systems, in particular Allen Bradley and Siemens, at an expert or system integrator level
  • Understanding of Cat 0, 1, and 2 emergency stop categories and how they function within an industrial controls environment
  • Use of VLAN, WLAN, and Virtualised network systems
  • Experience with fieldbus network communications systems including Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Modbus TCP
