Keen to find a role that offers a challenge and an opportunity to learn? Reporting to the Equipment Engineering Group Leader, these roles are a new requirement for the weekend, they include but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring smooth running of the Production departments.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repair tasks in a timely manner on our machines causing minimal disruption to production.
  • Identifying and diagnosing faults with complex equipment in the Wafer Fabrication Areas and providing solutions.
  • Working in a clean room environment maintaining equipment such as furnaces, implanters and completing routine servicing, and replacing parts as and when required.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure our wide range of equipment on site is reliable for our production teams to deliver products to our customers.
  • Working within Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • Working within a team to provide new ideas and ways of working striving towards continuous improvement.

WORKING HOURS

The roles will be working on an alternating shift pattern. Details are as follows:

Week 1:

Friday & Saturday: 07.00am - 07.30pm (30mins lunch)

Sunday: 07.00am - 7.00pm (30mins lunch)

Week 2:

Friday & Saturday: 07.00pm - 07.30am (30mins lunch)

Sunday: 07.00pm - 7.00am (30mins lunch)

ABOUT YOU

As a team, we work really closely together, we are looking for 2 experienced engineers who thrive in a hands on, technical role, inclusive of tasks such as problem solving, routine maintenance and repairs. We will support and develop the individuals, therefore would suit someone who is keen to learn and take on a new challenge. To be considered you require:

  • Circa 5 years' experience working within a hand on technical / maintenance role.
  • Obtained an electrical / electronic HNC / HND qualification.
  • Able to interpret technical documentation such as schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Recent experience working in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with a wide range of equipment carrying out routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Knowledge and experience fault finding and diagnosing machine issues.
  • Experience following procedures and processes.
  • Experience of toxic/corrosive gases, hydraulics, pneumatics, DI water systems and high and low voltage electronics is essential due to the nature of the machinery.
  • Computer literate and competent using packages such as Microsoft Word.
  • Good communicator and used to working as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in our clean room production bays (full PPE required & provided)
