Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities of Field Service Engineer:

• To be available for carrying out the breakdown and preventative maintenance engineering requirements of the company customer base
• Applying a reactive and proactive support to our customers
• Problem-solving in a responsible and methodical manner whilst carrying out effective customer liaison skills to ensure total customer satisfaction
• Ensure effective communications are maintained with Area Manager's and other staff
• Flexibility to work within regions of Ireland within given notice
• To be available for any necessary product or skills training courses
• Ensure call closure procedures are followed at all times
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed correctly and returned within correct timescales

Key Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering experience
• Detailed knowledge of electronic/ electrical components including 3 phase mains power
• 3 years' experience in a similar field engineer position and environment
• Problem solver
• Able to work in a diverse working environment
• Team player
• Smart appearance
• Strong communication skills, both via telephone and face to face with customer
• Clean driving licence
• Willing to travel
