As the Scheduler you will form an integral part of the Fans production team. With a strong, solid background in planning and good understanding of operations within the Manufacturing Industry, you will take the lead in planning the Fans cell, material requirements and will take full responsibility for delivering operational Output of the Fans Cell ensuring internal OTD, Quality and customer expectations are met. You will also help towards developing and improving planning processes and procedures for the company.

  • Prioritise materials / issues through the supporting functions, e.g. Goods In, Stores, Dispatch, Purchasing, Engineering, etc…
  • Liaising with the purchasing team on materials availability, quality of supply
  • Controlling traceability through the shop floor
  • Raise and control Works Orders in line with MRP
  • Review, decide and action MRP exception messages
  • Align with operations to forecast sales and site planning activities
  • Develop and continuously improve planning processes and procedures
  • Maintain MRP parameters in line with company policies
  • Proactive daily communication with Customer Services ensuring updates, issues and resolutions are shared in a timely manner
  • Appreciation / understanding of Aerospace / Medical traceability requirements
  • Lead and align a cross functional team to deliver customer requirements and Sales targets

To be successful in this role of Scheduler we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • APIC CPIM (Desirable)
  • Demonstrates solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities
  • High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum)
  • Experienced in works order control
  • A proven understanding of traceability Experience of working with MRP systems is essential
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams Operational teams
  • Good Understanding of value stream from sales order loading to customer delivery
  • Significant proven experience of working with MRP systems is essential, including setting and maintaining MRP planning parameters. With the ability to become a super user.
